Kind of Leon are at V Saturday, Sunday. Would they play 3 in a row? Hope not as I don't really like them. Still they are a big name and worthy headliner, just not my bag.

If, and it's s BIG if, they do manage to get Prince, it will be the biggest coup in Festival history (beating The Stones finally playing Glastonbury)

Had tickets to see the Stone Roses at Glasto in 1996?? So this is the second time a headliner has gone AWOL, Pulp were a great replacement though fingers crossed

Just watching The XX coverage from Glastonbury, looking forward to the show now, looks fantastic. Perhaps I've underestimated then as a headline act.

Well, that's it for me. Up and at 'em in the morning, onwards to Pukkelpop! Going to hit the Boiler Party for a few hours tomorrow night, then back to the boozer in Hasselt, (pictured above) for a couple of beers. I expect I will see some of you there!

Arrived hasselt today,drive past the festival site,looks amazing,totally not what I expected,not that I knew what to expect.

Further to people asking about camping equipment,there is a Carrefour on the hasselt ring road with all types of camping equipment and also a garden centre next door that sells camping chairs etc.

After a few drinks in the Irish times now back at holiday inn ex for a good sleep before the camping tomorrow

All packed, sorted out last minute travel insurance, found my E111 card (which expired last year) and now having a quick beer before bed.

Safe travels to everyone and hope to see as many of you as possible over the weekend. Just spoke to the friends I'm meeting up with and we went through the entire timetable, plotting who we will see. Despite all the cancellations, there is still LOADS of great music on offer and it'll be a real struggle to fit it all in. I hope the announcement tomorrow will lift spirits even higher but it will be an amazing weekend whatever happens!

In the HI Express. The local paper quotes Chokri as saying there will be an announcement about the replacement headliner "late this afternoon".

Local rumour says Pearl Jam.

Mind you, local rumour also says Nick Cave, and we know it can't be him as he's elsewhere... So PJ rumour is probably rubbish too

I can imagine a lot of people would have loved Editors or dEUS all of a sudden.

Will be my last PP I think. Line up was weak anyway but no there's not one headliner I'd be busting a gut to see. Luckily I bought my food and drinks tickets off a 2011 goer who couldn't make it this year and got the compo tickets so Pukkelpop wont be getting any more of my hard earned whilst I'm there.

My GF and me have 100 euros in tickets and i have promised myself that i won't spend a single euro in the festival. It will be my last PP too... I didn't like the way that the proceeded this last 5 days.

Back in hotel room now after what has been a good but long day. All my travel arrangements pretty much worked out as planned and got here around 8pm.

Made it to the site by 10pm and was initially disappointed to see that the Boiler was set up the same as last year, sideways on. However, the outside Dance area is designed in such a way that it makes it seem like the Boiler is one long, big space, with an outside bit that doesn't feel like you're outside in the middle. The lights need to be seen to do them complete justice but I can't wait to get back there tomorrow!

Share all the disbelief about Major Lazer - they weren't even in the running! Forgot to mention that we saw the opening ceremony, which was basically some fireworks. Wasn't anywhere near enough to justify the saving they made on Neil Young though.

At the airport heading out now, the boiler room looks pretty amazing this year, kinda reminds me of the radiohead l.e.d pole set up they did for their last tour... Pretty excited to head out but will also have a weird sense of deja vu with 2011.

I also have 150quids worth of vouchers myself plus my original two others who couldn't make it this year, they chose Leeds which I am also pulling off this year! Whats the weather like Sempreni?

Weather was very nice yesterday, even into the night. I had shorts on the whole time and didn't bother with a jumper when we went to the site. Looks like it will be similar today.

Hotel was very quiet last night, there was no one in the bar when we came back from the cafe on the corner around 1am. That was also pretty dead. Didn't go that mad myself so not feeling too sore this morning, which is a nice change.

Just remembered, heard a story about the headliner replacement from a reliable source which, if true, will leave some of you absolutely gutted. Basically, they had Prince but he wanted a long set (my friend said 3 hours!) and to close the Main Stage. However the Prodigy had it in their contact to finish the night and they wouldn't budge. Neither would Prince so it fell through. Will try and see today if anyone else has heard of that or can confirm it.
