Lock Up has been comfirmed as coming back so may aswell get a thread going.

I've just spotted Leftover Crack are doing UK dates in Aug and aren't announced for Rebellion so are likely to be in with a shout to play.

Heard rumours about Pianos Became The Teeth touring with Touce Amoré in the uk this summer, don't know how likely it is TA playing 2 years in a row, but I hope they do, they killed it last year

Dropkicks, NOFX, Flogging Molly would be an awesome set of lock up headliners.

Dropkick's would be a great headliner, i reckon Anti Flag might be back again, Flogging Molly will probably be on, subbing Dropkick's maybe? or headlining

Billy Talent for joint main and lockup slot? How about The Ataris and Title Fight also? Really hope Reading gets La Dispute also... were brilliant at Download last year and we had Touche Amore on the lockup last year so could do a similar slot?

Has there been any mention of how many days it's going to be yet? Three days could seem too heavy on repeats, so I'd be happy with two still.

Jello Biafra and TGSOM have got a new album due out sometime this year and played Rebellion a few years back, I'd be delighted if they were one of the headliners. They play a few of the Dead Kennedys hits too.

Pennywise and Texas is the Reason are playing Groezrock and The Lawrence Arms are at Soundwave, so if they're around that'd be great too.

Reel Big Fish must be due to play the fest again in some form... believe they haven't played since they headlined Lockup in 06. Not sure would headline the stage again but could easily sub or maybe even return to low down main.

This argument occurs every year, th general assumption is that they're too big or expensive for the budget of the Lock Up. No idea if that's likely to be true or not.

Some other bands I would like for Lockup:

The Dillinger Escape Plan. - not played Reading in aaaaages and have a new album coming out this year apparently

Alkaline Trio - new album this year

Municipal Waste - prob unlikely as at Bloodstock... not sure if it's an exclusive fest appearance or not

Say Anything - after Slam Dunk last year I'm hoping they will do more fests

Converge - always going to be a dream

Leathermouth - apparently pretty much over as a band but I can dream

Four Year Strong - doing Slam Dunk

DZ Deathrays - not sure how well they would fit but would be nice getting them back to the fest again after their great FR slot this year.

Sonic Boom Six - been a while and they're always great live

They are touring a 10th anniversary of the album so that's why I said about them doing it in full. I'd love for them to be on the main though.

Well if it is going to three days, then the budget for headliners will be stretched further. Dropkicks aren't really what I'd like to see as a headliner, I'd prefer to see them on Main or in the NME tent, but that's only my opinion.

Bad Religion are headlining Groezrock this year, it was only three years ago they last played, but I guess they could be back again if they're short of options.
