jump
Black Keys who I saw a few years ago as relative unknowns. Have they kept the bassist or not?
devilman
It was just the 2 of them when I saw them and they made hell of a sound for that. They called on a bassist for a couple of numbers but he went off again. They were really good.
LondonTom
... really? How come, I was sure they on site mixed it at the very least?
jonodillieono
Justice use a keyboard for 1 or 2 songs live, the rest of the set is purely just mixing.
Zzzonked
Ill most likely get slated for this but I think with 1 maybe 2 more albums as successful or even more than A Flashflood of Colour Enter Shikari can headline and no matter what you say about their music they put on a good show, so much energy. Seem to go down well at reading aswell always drawing decent crowds. I just hope they miss out reading this year and next year and come back big In 2015

Zzzonked
Yeah that's the problem, it depends how their next album goes I guess, AFFOC got a lot more coverage but still obviously not enough and they're not exactly radio friendly, don't think they aspire to be either which is what I love about them. Haha Good effort, seen them like 9 times now and amazing every time. Nah I guess you're right, think they will definitely sub in the near future and they fully deserve it imo. Zzzonked
Yeah I think they would have gained a lot of new followers from AFFOC, getting #1 midweek and #4 end of week for a band like that is pretty impressive and like you said if they can produce another huge album which I think they can then they might be in with a chance, here's to hoping

Buko
I think the main problem with these "Future Headliners" is that they fail to retain the status. Looking back every "future headliner" only manages to be a poor headliner off NME hype & then 2 years later no one cares. The Darkness - 04 Franz Ferdinand - 06 Razorlight - 07 Arcade Fire - 10 MCR - 11 All these bands were considered poor headliners that year as they were being pushed up to headliner but yet since then they haven't retained that status (apart from Arcade Fire). Therefore were constantly just going to be bumping up bands every now again which will never headline again while repeating the likes of Killers, KOL & Arctic Monkeys etc.

dart
What do people reckon to Noel Gallagher? I reckon with another album the size as his debut, with 4 or so singles getting regular airplay, he'd be bona fide headline size. I find his solo stuff a tad dull but it's alright, think he'd pull a solo headline slot off?

Lost_addict
I can't see why Alter Bridge would fit into Download any more than Reading, they seem to slip into both festivals seamlessly like Biffy Clyro and The Prodigy. Yellow_Fellow
Because they're boring lowest common denominator rock, Download's specialist genre

devilman
Excellent band I would suggest checking them out But yeah it will take a long time for Halestorm to be headline material I really hope one day it happens though,
