Makes me think of the Barclaysmen nostalgia trend from a few months ago where people were eagerly resharing football highlights from the 2006-14 or so era.
I mean, when you see the data, it does look like we said the Paris Agreement will save us then didn't put the work in to actually make the damn thing work. The trend over the last few years of electing politicians that act like what was done so far is too much is also not going to help.
I dunno. Maybe it also doesn't help that, in my opinion, we've been too f**king lazy to find a fuel that can truly replace oil and gas at the scale that those fuels has allowed us to live for the past 50 or so years. I'm not sure electric cars are the answer as they still need power from somewhere, to say nothing of knowing whether it's practical to make electric planes or electric cargo ships.
