On how much from Opposites, I'd say around 50% of the setlist ...10 songs seems about right, by then they will know which songs from the album are working and then couple of extra songs from Only Revolutions that they drop for the opposites arena tour will be added back in.

50 sounds good to me, a lot of Opposites is perfect for a festival set in the dark, already overly excited for this, feel like a giddy schoolgirl.

having watched them at sonisphere (and i think this will be better) i can guarentee-

-a solid rock setlist with 1 or 2 ballads, which are still epic and engaging.

-PYRO! Fire, crazy string, fireworks, bikini clad midgets (maybe not bikini clad midgets)

-mass singalong "whooooas" that every decent band should have (subject to opinion)

-and finally a set which will guarantee them headliner status throughout the UK thereafter, unlike My Chemical Arsewart.

i didnt go that year, but i heard they did well too. all i mean is that i dont think that show has got them headliner status around the UK - there still seems to be a mixed opinion on if they deserved it and if they were worth booking. I honestly don't see that happening with Biffy

guess they just have to hope reading wants them back 1 year! the only other option i reckon they would get is T in the park, but only if a new album comes out to the acclaim opposites has - or they do one of these ridiculous "lets break up and get reunion appeal a year later!".

Back to the debate about the closing headliner, with that sort of set, Biffy could easily headline on Sunday at Reading

It'll be between 90-120 minutes and they'll play around 25 songs imo

I reckon they could get two hours... would be their longest set and reckon they could get to near 30 songs in that time.
