Andre91
The song I'm most hoping they will play is PSYCHO! That solo at the end...
Mouseboy11
I'm hoping for Lost In Hollywood, brilliant song!
devilman
Just watching that Bounce video sent shivers down my spine. It was a brilliant gig. I hope the Leeds set is as good but even if it's only half as good it will be AWESOME! I reckon they'll play all of the suggestions posted since the vid. SOAD
I would say the pretty much guranteed songs are: Suite Pee Sugar War? Prison Song Chop Suey! Bounce Toxicity Aerials BYOB and the following very likely also: Suggestions Needles Psycho Cigaro Lost in Hollywood Soldier Side - Intro Hypnotize Lonely Day Edited April 9, 2013 by SOAD
Areophobia
@SOAD - when I'm trying to predict setlists what is throwing me is that the length of time subs/heads get has changed over the last two years (which I haven't been to). Subs before 2011 used to get 60 minutes didn't they? Subs after 2011 no1 get 70/80 minutes? Is that right? PLUS - supposedly Biffy are getting a really long set. Surely Green Day would too - affecting SOAD's time.

Com Truise
I'd laugh if Green Day got 90 minutes, and Eminem got 2 hours, so Billie-Joe threw a tantrum, decided to drop out, and SOAD headlined, best possible outcome
Areophobia
Tbh after some of the bands that have headlined over the last few years I think: Green Day SOAD Is a real coup and ridiculously strong - they're both very big bands that do compliment each other somewhat. On a side note there's going to be some serious crushing/pits on that day ! Edited April 9, 2013 by Areophobia
Com Truise
Yeah it's a great book for the fest, they've got 2 subs that are headliners in themselves and another really strong sub that could make the jump one day Gonna wait and see who they announce against Green Day though, if they get a long set I might catch the last hour or so

Com Truise
I take it you're referring to NIN and SOAD as headliners that are subbing and Chase and Status as potential headliners one day?
Areophobia
Yeah, I think out of the three Eminem will get the shorter one (1 hr 30?) I just hope NIN and SOAD get at least 70 mins.
Com Truise
Em only really needs 90 minutes hope he makes the most of it, and however much he may mime or rap over backing tracks doesn't bother me, gotta see that man live Will be interesting that as all 4 out of Green Day, SOAD, Biffy and NIN are gonna want long sets, maybe they have cut the amount of main stage acts to cater for them? Com Truise
Considering he's 40 I'm not surprised if he does need to, the speed of some of his songs, it's a lot more difficult than singing at 40! All credit to people like Jay-Z, in their 40s and still incredible live mind There's only 6 on the main each day at the moment, so they could easily cut it down to only 7 or 8 each day for SOAD and NIN, or bands starting a little bit earlier on in the day, maybe they could even get the curfew extended? Shouldn't be too hard at Leeds if they wanted to, not sure about Reading though. NIN and SOAD definitely deserve long sets though and they must have known that when they booked them so here's hoping

Spud001
Ah that was the one, I've wanted to see him live since I was a little kid, vowed to myself if I ever got the chance to see him I'd take it, and here it is, he can stand there and mime for 90 minutes for all I care, I'll bloody love it nonetheless
Zzzonked
I remember Eminem - Lose Yourself coming on the PA before fosterthepeople and me and my mates singing along, some guy told us to fuck off to V fest if we like eminem. Kind of funny now

giantwagon
Been listening to SOAD a lot over the past months. Never really listened to them properly before they were announced for R+L, I mean I knew Chop Suey, Toxicity etc but not a lot else, and they've fast become one of my favourite 'heavier' bands. Cannot wait to see them in August!
