Anybody been?

Searched the forum but surprisingly cannot find any mention of the fest anywhere on efests forum. With Blur headlining a day and looking at last years line up it looks like it could be a pretty decent fest. Especially considering it only costs £70!

Booked flights at the weekend anyway. £70 return which is great value from Liverpool. Will probably pick up the fest ticket in the next month.

Looks like they could have few Bestival acts with it on the same weekend so hopefully Belle & Sebastian and The Flaming Lips could turn up.

A good fest? Anyone recommend it?

Well, its on an abandoned inner city nazi build airfield. And while it is a great if not stunning location it has had some problems with sound and some stage capacity issues over the years. But other than that its a great weekend in one of the most exciting AND CHEAPEST cities in the world. Obviously there is no camping. Any specific questions, ask ahead...

+1.Stunning location, easy to get to, no hassle, friendly people. And of course, Berlin is great before and after. Enjoy!

Went last year. My biggest issues was the sound. Terribly low on the main stage. Watched the Killers and were afraid of overpowering the sound from the stage.

Also the airfield is anything but cozy...

BUT Berlin is my favourite city in europe so had a great time out and about anyway.

Think this years line-up is great, so may go back, despite its shortcomings..
