Is there any possibility that Bloc Party could play this year? They have been announced for IoW as sub-headliners, but I personally think that can't rule them out of giving a performance on the Main Stage both Reading and Leeds, since Biffy played IoW as well Download last year. Anyway, what do you reckon?

Unless, like Franz Ferdinand at Bestival, someone is actually booked as an exclusive, it's only really headliners that are ruled out if they're playing other fests. So yeah, there's a good chance Bloc Party will play. I think they're pretty popular at R&L too.

Of course, they're a band V will also go for, so that could potentially rule them out.

I'd be quite surprised if they're not there. I think they'd probably be back down to 3rd on main nowadays though.

Bloc Party announced would make me incredibly happy, I'd be genuinely disappointed if they didn't play, they're the one band I've been holding out for Zane to announce

I think they are almost certain to be at one of R&L or v. Depends who offers them the best deal. I could see 3rd top just like the kaiser chiefs, or even an NME headline spot...

Will no doubt sub one of the days, I think they haven't fallen quite as much as the Kaiser Chiefs and they did have a bit of a break.

The tent could work if they was up against someone massive to split the crowd.
