Also on the subject of Kaiser Chiefs I went to see them last week and my friend gave me 4 tickets to sell for her since she couldn't go. The very most I could get for them was a fiver (£1.25 a ticket) and they cost £30 each...

Bloc Party's stage show last night reminded me of Sub Focus's light ring.

The new songs, although not a big fan of them, are except for one in the encore festival friendly. Great show & was absolutely rammed being an all standing gig.

Yeah XX wouldn't play over BP, but 2nd would work nice.

I wouldn't like to see XX sub R&L, but the truth is, they're big enough to do it right now.

I wish Coexist had been as good as it could have been. Their 1st album in full would be really nice to see live though, in the dark.

I'd say The XX are bigger than The Black Keys. If they play they'd definitely sub.

Anyway on topic, Bloc Party were great on friday, the new song Ratchet sounded brilliant, hopefully the next album shapes up like that! Bit of a shit big cheapish london weekend crowd aside, they done brilliant. I think we could see them sub maybe. (Defo bigger than the Kaisers were last year in 3rd.)

Placings do often seem off at R&L but by the time the festival comes round we're ussually proved wrong.

I think if they release a really good single before August then they could sub because it will increase interest
