No I was just refering to Biffy as they're at Reading. And Biffy ain't just the drummer they all are topless aren't they, haven't seen them for a while, they used to be. I skipped them at Download last year for Killswitch and Skindred

I don't mind Bloc Party, when I saw them headline the NME in 2005 at Reading they were fantastic, but IMO they haven't gone onto the bigger and better things I thought they would sadly, hence why I guess they haven't broken through to headliner status.

I really quite liked Intimacy. I think Bloc Party have evolved their sound well over their albums. I much prefer their steady reinvention to Oasis' desperate attempt to imitate their first album over the rest of their career.

I also liked Intimacy, I actually think (and I've said this before) while the first couple of albums had the better big hits on them, they seem to have made better whole albums for me at least as they have gone on but its the big hits that you get up to headliner status.

I quite liked intimacy as well, mercury is one of my fav songs. they may never headline but what they do means they have great sets and great to listen to.

Someone give the band a link to this thread, then they might start playing more than one solitary song off it live

Good first album, lost interest after that.

M-M-Mercury M-M-Mercury song was rubbish.

I think I prefer Intimacy to A Weekend In The City, Ares is a brilliant tune.

I really like Intimacy, but I definitely prefer AWitC. Waiting for the 7:18, Kreuzberg, Where is Home, so many cracking tunes on that.

And it doesn't have Mercury which is a definite plus point.

I literally think every album is shocking, but really like Helicopter. I really don't think I've encountered a band who have filler tracks as much as these guys

I'm exactly the opposite. With the exception of one or two absolute standouts and one or two weaker tracks, it doesn't bother me much what they play live because I'm thrilled to hear whatever they want to play me . Their 'filler' tracks are as good as the best songs of almost all other bands.

Yeah I'm getting a bit fanboyish here. So sue me.
