What you have to take from this is the acts that are playing TITP and not announced for V cus more than likely they're gunna end up at Reading and Leeds.

Im looking at you Chase n Status, Editors, The View, Frank Turner, Dizzee Rascal and yes.. The Fratellis.

Im just thinking UK based artists, hopefully we'll get Yeah Yeah Yeahs too!

I saw Fratellis sub RATM at TITP in 2008, now thats a massive fall from grace.

They're alright in a im shouty indie band like The Enemy kind of way. Low main stage and id be fine with a small set from them, remember seeing them support Kasabian on tour in an arena and they were woeful then though.

They also subbed Glastonbury that year.

Those were some dark times for guitar music. Bands like The Fratellis, The Enemy and The Kooks playing pretigious slots at festivals, being heralded as "the next big thing". Thank god the mid-to-late noughties are over. I find the current crop of popular Indie bands like The Vaccines and Two Door Cinema Club to be rather dull, but they're certainly not as bad as those!
