mike99
If they were to play. It would have to be high up main stage for the people in the band. Secret set maybe. Could this happen or was there album and gig a 1 off?
dentalplan
One off
Luke Routledge
They would have to headline but they would have finished by summer.
dentalplan
Aren't they finished now? Isn't Dave back working on Foos next album? Edited February 24, 2013 by dentalplan
mike99
So no chance at reading or Leeds. Pity
Frankly Mr Shankly
I'm sick of hearing 'they'd have to headline' because let's be honest, they wouldn't.

Frankly Mr Shankly
The setlist they play is made up of largely unknown songs (in terms of the general R&L audience) so it's a case of the band members over shadowing the material, which essentially means you'd have a load of people shouting "the pretenderrrr" in between each song. Not to mention they haven't actually as a collective unit done anything worthy of headline status... Of course if you're too much of a Grohl fan boy to see this, then so be it. dentalplan
It's not even really a band, it's a show to promote a DVD and an album. For the sheer length of the set they'd have to headline but its the same as saying the cast of Les Miserables would have to headline. It won't happen and it's over. thewayiam
Lets be honest they would. Their set alone is about 25 songs and the amount of talent they would need to be on and off the stage like Stevie Nicks, Josh Homme, Novoselic, Rick Springfield and possibly Corey Talyor and Paul McCartney. Plus its still the Foo Fighters as a backing band.
