Yes a real popular music festival, but I'm pleased with Stereophonics and the Vaccines. Jury is still out on getting tickets tomorrow ... but I'm sure there will be enough to keep me occupied for the weekend - and good times with good friends ! Plus gives me more options at Glasto - as if a band is playing that may see at V I will use my time wisely and go see someone else at Glasto - win win !

may be tempted by a day if the following are on the same day

Vaccines, Phonics, 2DCC, Beady Eye, Bassment Jaxx, Courteeners, Travis, Of Monsters and Men, The Fratellis, OCS, Rudimental, Labrinth.

and out of the 2, Beyonce, KOL sound great but are painfully dull.

NEVER GONNA HAPPEN

But lacks imagination....Again

I'm pleased with it. Beyonce is something different for V, she headlined Glastonbury before, and although

a pop festival, V always struggles to get a unique headliner.

I guess we all expected Kings Of Leon, but it could so easily have been Rihanna, Muse, Radiohead,

or even Kasabian, all of who have headlined or sub headlined V before.

Plenty for everyone, and lots of sing along groups like Stereophonics, Travis, James, Ocean Colour Scene and even Deacon Blue. Hoping they have a Stranglers spot to kick off a sunny day at Weston Park. Plus I'm sure Beady Eye will do some classic Oasis tracks.

Always someone else to see or something to do to avoid the likes of Little Mix and James Arthur.

This will be the first one I've missed in eight years. I think opinions will be very divided on this line up but regardless it will sell out - I'II chance my cash on the B52s, Aswad, Cockney Rebel and Heaven 17 at Rewind - At least I won't get covered in piss !!

It will be very popular, my mates will be all over it like a rash with the 90s guitar bands like stereophonics/james/ocs and then kol.

The wife will love it as they have beyonce/calvin harris and the likes.

The nieces will love it as it has the xfactor generation.

Keeps everyone happy and thats why it will sell well.

Myself will spend the cash elsewhere.

Probably one of the most disappointing and stale line-ups in V Festivals history. Obviously relying on bands who have been there in the last 2-3 years and don't necessarily have a big uptake in popularity at the moment. All for bagging a big headliner in Beyonce. Kings of Leon on the another hand are a poor 2nd headliner. Like Killers, no interaction with the crowd and just bang out hit with nothing extra.

Obviously the youth/chavs will be all over this, but I refuse to pay for a festival that's decided to play safe and not get any fresh bands/acts in. Especially when you can go see Beyonce in the comfort of the O2/Wembley or anywhere indoors.

Seems like the organisers won't sort out the problems and continue to take more money for less. Surely most pop/rock festivals offer 3 days for the same price now? It's sad to see V Festival is now a far cry from its roots :(.
