Seen this article, thought it made them sound very stuck up and arrogant, pretty sure the Scorpions are not that big here and i'm sure 2nd stage headliner would have been a perfect spot for them

Bunch of cvnts. I don't think we'll see them in the UK ever again now. I'll probably travel to see them one last time though.

I won't be travelling to see them after this. I will watch them at a festival if there is no one else on at the time. Why should we, as fans, be bothered if they aren't - regardless of how good/popular or whatever they were. The wind has definitely changed.

I agree to a major extent. I think that Rudi's outburst was ill advised but it's probably the same thing that all bands negotiate behind the scenes. Making it public was foolish. In reality though he's right. They can fill huge arenas all over so why come here to get paid less to perform to a crowd of scene kids who don't know who they are and are only there because Slipknot are too shouty. Just playing devil's advocate of course, I definitely see them in a different light now and if some of their songs didn't have nostalgic and emotional ties for me then I wouldn't give them the reek off my shite. It may well turn that they'll get considerably less than that if they don't play a suitable venue soon.

They haven't tended as I recall played those type of huge venues here for a long time and whilst its reading between the lines the comment about not being able to bring their full show suggests they were looking for mainstage headline or sub

They haven't played here for a while full stop and no it wasn't big venues. Go to Europe however, as I did at teh end of 2011 and they are selling out huge venues. That was my point, they have no real incentive to come here. Telling that to the fans that made them though is not a forward thinking strategy.
