At this point I'll be officially disappointed if we don't get them. Big hyped return, playing other festivals, in Europe for a festival the week before Reading... if they somehow haven't been booked, I'd consider it a massive failure.

I can see with SOAD already being booked, and if their comment genuinely has meaning other than "they got paid a lot" then the 3rd headliner too, could possibly entice NIN into playing

I don't think he meant NIN would be headlining, I took it to mean that whoever the 3rd headliner is could tempt NIN to play if they're someone who have already enticed SOAD to play.

I didn't get a chance to see NIN before their hiatus and I'm unable to get the weekend of Reading off work... So it looks like I'm going to Germany to see them, completely worth it!
