If push comes to shove and they need to replace Beyonce, chances are it's not going to be a female singer.

They'll draft someone in who is either free at the time, on tour within Europe or the UK and is popular right now. Kelly Clarkson headlining V would be the death of it.

If Kelly Clarkson was on the line up somewhere it wouldn't be too bad but I just think not a headliner. Why do you think they wouldn't go for a female solo singer

I know The Script are big but I don't see them headlining thus year or any year. Smaller festivals maybe but not V

On a similar note, has there ever been any leaks saying how much headliners or sub acts got from V or similar tests. I know I read somewhere glasto doesn't really pay more than £250,000

I would have thought it will be televised, either live or in highlights afterwards. It would be foolish of V to get Beyonce and then not show it off. But there again its V we are talking about and so we cant rule out the fact they wont show it

Bonce will not be on tv, I garentee that, else, as a European exclusive, V would be closing there live tv coverage of the fest with her. They don't want to pay the extra for people at home who ain't bought a ticket

The most I can find of archive TV footage of V on YouTube is about three editions of The Killers singing the same song, and an interview with Katy Perry. You can kind of see why it doesn't have the mainstream hype of Glasto/Radio 1's Big Weekend etc. when the TV coverage is like that.

And of course this year T4 is dead, so they probably won't even have presenters on site doing links, just an hour of highlights at 2am on the following Tuesday.

People sat at home watching on 4music are even less thought of than us mugs who buy the tickets. They've got her to sell tickets, why worry about televising it, more expense for no reason

Im not familiar with the TV Schedule for V, is it usually on 4Music as they have the second stage?
