Don't get me wrong, I do like them but I just think a Glasto headline slot is beyond them. Especially to close the weekend.

Mumford and Sons are huge internationally. Huge. Arguably they're bigger overseas than they are here. Thus I think this is continuing Glasto's recent trend of closing the event wit huge international stars, to boost the event's profile aboard (the last two Glasto's have been closed by Bey and Stevie Wonder if I'm not mistaken). Glasto is already at maximum capacity for the site and probably at the highest ticket prices which would be sensible - the only way for them to make more money is to sell TV rights etc. internationally. So this is what they're trying to do.

I've only been to Glasto twice and my fave headliner was Iggy. He's crackers :-)

Ed would have only really been a good sub for Mumfords out of the three headliners. I would have thought Glasto would have had someone more similar to Rolling stones to sub them but I know nothing about fests and stuff as i regularly show
