Croissant Neuf Summer Party 2013

As some one has suggested on the 2012 thread here is the 2013 thread!!

Went last year for first time and loved it. We normally go to glastonbury and the croissant neuf area at Glastonbury is our favourite. Loved the friendly relaxed atmosphere with it being small (only 3000 people) and everything all within short walking distance of campsite.

Tickets booked for this year and we are looking at yurt hire. Hope to see some of you there!

Just over a week until heading down and can't wait.

Looking at weather forecast think there maybe some showers so won't be blessed with scorching hot weather we had last year but still looking forward to it.

Maybe see some fellow e-festers there

I'm stewarding there, arriving about Wednesday lunchtime. Hopefully I'll have my caravan in the extra crew and performers area they are putting in behind the barn. It's a bit flatter than the main crew area and doesn't have security access issues so friends and family will be able to call in.

Look out for the Lunar Meteorite with the daffodil windsock and come and say hello.

Were aiming to get there late Thursday pm. Seeing as we missed out on glastonbury this year we're going up market and hiring a yurt that'll be already put up for us when we get there so no need for us to rush to get decent camping spot

Sounds very nice. We're aiming to get there about 3ish- meeting our friends in Usk then convoy to the site. Then hopefully find nice spot to camp like we did last year- though there's 8 of us this year so may take bit longer. Then maybe to Stagger Inn for a pint and see what the kids want to eat

I'll be wearing an efestivals t-shirt on Thursday so may well see some of you around though think it may well be just me, rischbrit, jamesontheverge and grumpyhack representing efestivals

Shame I missed this call. Had a great festival, many thanks to monsigneur Grumpyhack for my lift to newport, every train was only a 10 minute wait and made my connections all the way to arrive home 4 hours earlier than expected and see returning friends tonight. A cracking little festival to which I shall return.

Great time, great festival, great weather (not as good as last year though) and great to meet dondo and grumpyhack.

For those wondering about the meet in the stagger in it didn't go ahead think partly due to short notice so we'll have to arrange something for next year a bit more in advance so hopefully more of us can make it. I say next year as yes we will be back!!!!

I may have given Spindles a lift and I'm glad he made the train. What he didn't say was that part of the deal was that he helped me hitch up my caravan at the fest and helped me park it when we got to Newport - for which I'm very, very grateful.

Great to meet a few old friends and put faces to names.

To Dondo I'd say yes go for Glastonbury next year. Your kids will love it but be prepared for the massive scale of the festival and lots and lots of walking.

+1 here for Glastonbury next year with kids. I'm sure they'll love the kidz field and the green fields area oh and of course the croissant neuf area. I've not got children myself but I have been there in a group with children and they loved it especially all the hands on craft areas on kidz field.

Next year we will aim to do both Glastonbury and croissant neuf finances and t day depending!
