Blur playing Dublin (Only UK & Ireland gig this year)

Im surprised they are playing Dublin in Aug, but no other festival or stand alone gig in the UK this year considering they are all over Europe this summer.

Will be interesting to see who supports them. Id say some Blur fans in the UK are peeved but may be OK with the fact that they have seen them a fair few times over the last couple of years.........

Small gig in Dublin too. Think its about 15k at a guess. Tickets are pricey though but I'm sure it'll sell out at some stage. Cracking venue. Really great place to watch a gig on a summers evening!

They'll be touring on and off for years by the looks of it. How many "farewell" gigs is this now? They're turning into Kiss!

Get a good day for it and it will be a cracker. Tickets are pricey but it says on TM doors 4pm so I can only assume we will get a good few on the lineup. It will be interesting to see who it is........

As for capacity, I would be interested to know what it is. Cohen was 10,000 apparently and he had seats.......so it may even be more than 15K.........

Blur need to get in the studio, write some new stuff and be a proper band. Just starting to become tedious otherwise.
