Fancy Dress ?

I'm a confirmed miserable git where it comes to fancy dress but I can see the impact it has on the festival on the saturday, people seem to make so much effort, I did suggest it to my 12 year old last year but the scowl I got in response would have withered a tree !

There's no theme announced yet, what do u reckon it should be this year and is anyone on here likely to be dressed up ?

I will be definatly , in a self designed multi coloured suit that I have worn to the last few Glastos would post a photo but cant work out how to do it !!

Nah a pair of steel toe cap wellies , a flat cap a beige pair of cargo shorts with Skid marks on the arse and a pathetic hotpots t shirt !

Do you know nothing about festival etiquette ?

Wearing the t shirt of the band your watching makes you a sad nob !

Today we announced our Fancy Dress theme as 'Kendal Calling Goes To The Movies' ..

Without giving too much of the plot away, you can expect areas to celebrate all the best themes such as the Wild West complete with it’s own Saloon bar, a spooky Horror area with Haunted House Party and an adventure area fit for Pirates!

So get your thinking caps on for the leading role you want to play this Summer, whether it be character or object from you favourite movie, be it Adventure, Horror, Sci-Fi, Comedy, Country & Western, Disney, Cult, Thriller or Rom Com .. think Rambo, Freddie Krueger, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Terminator, Willy Wonka, Jessica Rabit, Hannibal Lector, Batman, Jack Sparrow, your favourite Director or Movie Star or even the Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters!

In previous years you lot have never disappointed designing and donning costumes that have transformed the ancient Deer Park into a surreal Wonderland, this year we hope to turn it into one of the biggest movie sets ever!
