While the customer isn't stealing anything, I'm actually more against funding the music industry in a way that gives little to the artists. Lots of acts with less influence but still on major labels will have no say as to whether their material goes on Spotify or not, and will end up getting far less cash.

I personally believe in buying CD's, merch and gig tickets all officially and feel better for it and like that feeling of having something like a CD to show for it and not just on my computer or iPod. I think that's part of what festivals and the music industry isn't in a great way because people get round it.just my opinion though and i feel better for what i do, especially supporting smaller bands :)

I'm split on music piracy. I understand why people do is and that is fine, but it in the end someone along the line gets hurt and if you're downloading music and it is most likely the smaller artists as they won't be signed on to record labels but then again they don't see much of that. But then again piracy could even benefit them allowing them to reach a wider audience and some artist don't care if you illegally download albums. When I saw A Day To Remember they said they don't give a fuck as long as you come to their shows as it one of the main source of incomes.

But I do stream quite often but then again I've bought most of what I stream on Spotify of at least buy an album. After a few months of streaming The Greatest Generation I finally got a physical copy today at a reasonable price, even the last album I pirated (Common Courtesy) I bought as it wasn't on physical initially. To be fair I do enjoy having a physical copy and I just finding it satisfy buying an album rather than getting it all on the internet for free.

But do you want. I don't give a shit as long as you support the band in one way or another
