For anyone like me who doesnt like spending lots of money on a tent (they very rarely come home with me, especially if the tent has got wet and muddy) i have found a bit of a bargain at Halfords.

Tents left at festivals have a huge environmental impact. I've posted an article below that goes into it in more detail, there will also be plenty of signposts and videos at the festival that encourage you to take them home too

Actually, they can be passed onto refugees, who need them far more than me (and probably 100% of the rest of the festival attendees). Call it a donation, like a big charity shop, particularly if you leave your wellies and other stuff you dont really need again like plastic plates, cutlery etc.

It's not half term yet is it? Why are the trolls so busy today?

It’s just the one … must be doing some kind of project on reactions from people on a festival forum …. Seems to be our old traditional friend jimbarknoodles style

I was thinking of the drag/blackface convo, as well as the "piss on tents, steal competition codes, leave a trace" edgelord.

Imm also looking for an airbed or mat recommendation. I dont mind paying but it needs to be light to carry. Thanks.

I got a Thermarest Prolite self inflating mat years ago - folds tiny, easy to pack away and comfortable.

Went to REI yesterday ( our higher end version of millets and such ) and got this. Def gonna come in handy if you wanna sit down and not use a towel or blanket. Surely something compareable in uk shops though. Also grabbed a quick drying towel and toilet seat covers. All thats left to buy are sleeping bags and a  foam camping/yoga mat for the WV tent. do they sell mats onsite at the festival btw? Just curious.

Yup - mine has done me 12 years now with no complaints.  Probably pricier than the competition but has been worth it imho.

I'm in the S.I.M camp too... But ours are Vango. They've always served us well, and we always get a nice nights kip. Got fed up with even the most expensive airbeds deflating over night!

That doesn't exactly answer your question but on the WV facebook group someone posted an answer from Glasto that WV was probably not renting mats/inflatables....

Ive just bought this

https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01N19AN6F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Ive always used a small self inflating mat in the past but decided to go for a bit more comfort this time around, now im a bit older, you cant beat a bit more comfort!

Its a bit pricier than other airbeds but has good reviews, folds up pretty small too to not too bulky to carry

Can anyone recommend a decent camping stove set they have already used - compact and lightweight....seen some on Amazon that double up as pots/cups but just wondered if they were any good.

Got this one - works great. Might be worth investing in a wind shield too though
