eastynh
Are you young? I drink 21.5 hours a day at glasto but never seem to feel ill. When I was a youngster I'd always throw up after a few hours out. My mate threw up outside of her tent last year and the grass was scorched!! Funny really to think our stomachs must be made of sturdy stuff to withstand the acid. ... Sorry... I digress. I wish that I could blame youthfulness on my alcohol problems. I am 36 and have always been like that. I can drink a little or a lot, but come 4am, I will be chucking up unfortunately.

The_Amazing_Oblong
Would these be allowed on site? Due to the glass cover on them. Seen loads of solar battery chargers in the CV fields in years past. Ignore the folding BBQ though as you can get them for £9.99 - http://www.outdoorcampingdirect.uk/mini-pack-away-bbq.html?gclid=CKGagazr1MQCFYSWtAodQRUAtw and they do price match. grayfitz
Not sure if it's nationwide, but all of the Sports Directs in my area (North London) are doing Warehouse Liquidation Sales, so just picked up a sleeping bag, pillow, bungee ropes and rucksack for about £30 in total. A lot of the rucksacks are 50% off and it's the same off pretty much all the camping gear.

pentura
Awesome, what's it like for weight & size when packed up? I've only seen it online. Fits into a bag roughly a metre long and about 3/4 food wide. Nice and compact considering it's a pretty huge tent! That one does look nice tbf It is! Only thing that I'd change is the porch opening bit, The stands holding the opening up were a bit flimsy but more than likely we just had it set it up wrong. Great tent all the same! sloseph
cracking thanks i'm taking a trip to decathlon at the weekend to buy a tent and then go mental so i'll stick these on my trotters while i'm there and see how they feel just wanted to make sure i wasn't looking at a known duff brand or being duped by fancy jargon like self-cleaning lugs, for all i know all lugs could be self cleaning or not even prone to getting dirty
The 38 year old virgin
I got some karrimor boots from sports direct last year, cost £25,and they dealt with the mud, and are waterproof. Probably my buy of the summer
sloseph
oh really? I've got a thought in my head that Karrimor are rubbish, couldn't give you a reason why i think that though, perhaps just price snobbery

Harry3
SportsDirect (Lonsdale) bought them during the recession, that might be why No idea if the quality of their stuff has gone down though. They were a really good brand.
LondonTom
My walking boots are Karrimor and held up well in the mud last year to. (Actually my 2nd pair as I've taken to wearing them all the time for comfort, last pair lasted about 2 years but was around the 30/40 quid mark so couldn't complain!)
