Got a lovely rucksack from go outdoors yesterday, they had a few reduced.

I got an osprey exos 38 reduced from £100 to £30.

looks perfect size to fit beer, vodka, waterproof and flamingos.

Make sure they can breathe properly , I believe they have posted RSPCA officers on all the gates now

Tents Tents Tents. Arghhh. Stressing out now I've left it so late. Any good tents or deals on anywhere? Preferably a 4 man (or roomy 3-man).

We've brought this one http://www.decathlon.co.uk/arpenaz-4-family-tent-4-man-id_8322425.html. Looks decent - quick to put up and its the same brand quechua as some others are talking about. Our friends have a quechua pop up and love it! This was cheaper and bigger though...

Not sure if this has been mentioned but got a box of wine from Tesco called Australian. £14 odd and is 4 bottles worth. Its a lovely wine too. Can't wait to crack it open and fill up my wee plastic wine glass haha

Also a bottle of gin from aldi for £9, also v. Nice.

Voted best in taste tests :)

Is Cosy Camper the only place you can buy and collect? Whats the name of the other camping shop on site?

As far as I know, it is. Millets used to be on site but they stopped turning up several years ago. I don't recall seeing any other stalls that were specifically selling camping equipment.

Any cool box recommendations?  Fancy something that lasts a bit longer than a day!

We wrapped fresh from the fridge stuff in silver foil, then bunged in an Ikea cool bag, along with freezer blocks, then put that lot inside the cool box. Kept everything cool from Tuesday-Sunday. Was going to put some polystyrene sheets in but didn't have room.

Then again, this year wasn't a warm one...!

If anyone's in need of a really cheap tent, I've just been into a Tescos Extra and they had their own brand 3 man, double skin dome tent for £7.50. A friend bought the 2 man version in 2013, and although it's not the highest quality, it's kept him dry for the last 3 years.

Doesn't seem to be online, so check in store.

While this thread is active - has anyone got a anker etc charger that they have had  for a few years and has gone off the boil a bit? is that normal?

Mine is still working fine and it's nearly 2 years old.

Tent porn  I get to browse for a new one too, mine finally bit the dust after four glastonburys and a few other camping trips - it's somehow got mouldy after a forest trip down Dorset.

I want pretty much the exact same tent now, just non-mouldy :P

What do you have? I want something tall but not too wide.  I don't want to take up masses of camping space as there's just the two of us, but a decent porch and some standing height would be lovely

I'm after one of these, standing height 3 man job. Bit pricey but hoping for a sale between now and Bearded Theory in May.

That looks good!  But yes a bit pricey, I'm thinking over the winter there might be sales...

Definitely be on sale nearer Glasto. I think I have the bigger version of this and paid about the same money for it.  Main thing is its sewn in groundsheet and the hydro rating is 4000, none of you flimsy 2000, makes a real difference imo.
