I don't think we will have one single massive crowd this year... I fear we may have multiple.

System Into Green day will be fucking carnage, I can feel the crush already - but it'l be for different reasons

a) Lots of Green Day Fans

b ) Moshy System fans who love to make huge pits.

And Chase and status into Eminem will be horrific because

a) Teenage girls will be pulling hair and fighting with other girls to get to the front for eminem.

b ) Chase and status fans are usually dicks at gigs (sorry but they are).

c) Eminem will attract all the youth, and youthful crowds are the worst because they are all pushing and shoving.

d) Chase and status will bring out the big dubstep drops which will bring out great senses of bravado in the teenage boys and make them feel like they can punch someone without getting punched back.

worst crowds / crushes i've been in were The Prodigy 09 which was just ridiculous. made the stupid mistake of getting near the front and it was mayhem and just packed with dickheads. fucked my back up for the remainder of the festival!

Bloc Party in the same year got a bit ridiculous during Helicopter. crowd swayed and knocked everybody in front of me over and i managed to avoid falling but had the weight of like 10 people on me. thought my leg was gonna snap

I think the crowd for SOAD will be big but don't think it'll be ridiculously big, mainly 'cos they've booked asap rocky and skrillex at the same time who both appeal to the so called target audience (GCSE students) massively, I mean they are both huge at the moment. I'll be at the main stage for system but I think the tent will be pretty packed for those two.

I was there in the Slayer mosh - don't remember it being anything worse than Limp Bizkit (09) for instance - some moshing here and then but nothing major. Nothing on The Prodigy (09).

I really liked his last album thought it was actually up there alongside the Slim Shady LP in terms of rapping, few poppy choruses and stuff but the rapping and lyrics were outstanding, my previous answer was tongue in cheek
