Ed209
You should go see them over there. They've started writing they're threads down the page because they think it will make their page count go up. fatyeti24
No. Optimism doesn't work. It's been proven historically. Anne Frank was an optimist and look where that got her. Went out and bought a drum kit for Christmas and never used it once.

Zoo Music Girl
The thing is in the real world I am both an atheist and a sceptic who loves science. When it comes to Glastonbury weather I'd rather have all bases covered. If that means praying to the weather gods then so be it. This is too important! Plus we're winning... William of Walworth
NFRNFC started before the festival in 2010 and look what happened. In 2011 people got complacent and look what happened. Science has it's place but so does blind optimism. Cant we all just live as one?

jeffie
To clarify the history a tad here. The NFR NFC trope is a ruder and slightly changed!! version of my very own 'No Rain No Mud No Compromise' slogan (c. W of W) that became widely shared on here among us pre-Glasto weather obsessives far back as, I think, the build up to 2008. I started it as a throwaway '2007? No, Never Again' slogan ....
