Worst ever performance at Reading & Leeds

Thought seeing as we had a best performance ever thread this might be a good idea.

Personally worst ever performance's i've ever seen is

BFMV (08) - Way over crowded, sound was awful, band looked bored and full of 12 year olds trying to start a circle pit every time they started playing a new song.

Thrice (10) - Never seen a band so bored & unhappy while playing to 40,000 people

The Offspring (11) - I'm a huge fan of The Offspring which meant my expectations were high yet they were so disappointing, they didn't seem to care & where very lazy.

Incubus 2005. Even worse than their 2002 set which wasn't great, but 2005 was awful, BORING as fuck setlist didn't even play Certain Shade of Green. They really just couldn't be bothered at all that year, its up there as one of the worst festival performances i've ever seen at any fest.

Arctic Monkeys were dull as shit in '09 but RHCP in '07 was a real "what the fuck is this?" moment. Be Your Own Pet (2008) in the tent were a shambles but not in a good way, great band but they were clearly shitfaced and they'd already announced they were splitting. Vitually unlistenable.

The Strokes (2011) Never been so bored during a headline performance in my life. The band were half an hour late and just didn't give a shit.

Glassjaw (2011) So so so disappointed by these. Dire setlist led to an extremely bored crowd.

The View (2011) Have no idea why I was there thinking about it.

Why do people go and see an act that they know they are going to dislike?

I make sure I do a little bit of revision on most bands, bith on record and live, before the fest, especially those that don't fall in the time slots that I have un-missables, then I will already know what to expect.

You still get the occasional bad performance ie paramore 2010, Ian brown 2009, arctics 2009, but it ain't as bad as setting yourself up for a fall, see 30stm as a prime example where most don't research then complain he doesn't sing.
