Whatever you're opinions of them Public Enemy is an amazing booking for a festival like Kendal Calling, they're only playing Glastonbury and KC up till now as well as 3 of their own dates.

I've been a fan since the early days when swear words were bleeped out on the albums, gonna be strange to sing along without the beeps ! Can't wait to see them play live and could see them going down a storm like house of pain a few years ago

id be suprised if half the crowd even know who public enemy are tbh! from last year i was definately one of the older members of the mosh pit and im 'only' 29!

Seems as though the facebook masses are generally happy with the public enemy announcement which is a good sign.

Big fan but never managed to catch them live. Seasick Steve is great live and looking forward to Johnny Marr.

I'd have been happy with PE as Friday night headliner so for them to sub is great.

Trouble is, as you've already said...main stage is looking strong now so gonna miss loads of gems on the smaller stages

Im suprised british sea power are on the calling out stage. Having headlined the festival twice and put a good main stage performance a couple of years back you can only assume they'll be headlineing there this year

I was surprised that the lightening seeds are in the calling out as well. I appreciate its an acoustic set which may go down better in the tent but thought they'd be main stage

Maybe after dropping out last year they thought it would be an easier slot to cover up if it happens again

Think its good they've got a few established acts in the tent. Might drag a few more people that way and hear something different. Was hoping I Am Kloot would be in there as well.

Anyone gonna watch the public enemy performance over the weekend from Glastonbury to see what sort of set were in for ? Looks like there's gonna be coverage of primal scream and seasick Steve as well.

pulic enemy looked very good on the glato coverage. gutted Flava Flav wont be there, but Chuck-D's patta is class, so i for one cant wait
