Paul ™
We used to have a huge thread on this, but couldn't find it by search so maybe it's been purged/archived. Anyway now the weather is getting a bit better, and it's fast approaching festival season I thought I would start this thread up again so we can share our festival purchases and any bargains we find First tranklement purchase of the year - ordered a new small stove for travelling light on public transport etc, got this from Amazon and as I had vouchers sitting from surveys, I paid £1.60 for this but it's great quality and powerful enough to boil a cuppa in under 2 mins. The cannister and handle fit inside the 2 pots and comes with a handy strap to hold it all together! Linky

grumpyhack
When we camped this changed our lives It's a toaster you put on top of a single burner stone. Can do five slices at a time (four round the sides and one on top). Lightweight, folds flat to about the size of a dinner plate. Beans on toast, toast and pate, toast and marmalade so much more than just beans on bread, bread and pate and bread and marmalade. Can be obtained from most camping equipment shops or just Google camping toaster rack. Edited February 16, 2014 by grumpyhack

grumpyhack
mmm....much as I love toast, I still think that a mink bible cover is a must have for a mere 40 quid.
feral chile
But it's only artificial mink. This is real tin or aluminium or something similar and a quarter of the price. Anyway you could probably make a bible cover from toast and then cut it up for communion wafers.
