Bisque
I think I'm only going to make an appearance if I can get some dirt cheap tickets for Leeds with the OH. 2007 was shit on paper & shit in general (apparently) 2011 was shit on paper but turned out to be decent

Amy Lawn
MCR was the only thing that made 2011 look shit on paper, apart from that it was all pretty exciting. Pulp and DFA 1979 both came out of pretty much nowhere if I remember rightly.
Matt42
This year is carried by strong headliner and subheadliner names, the rest is pretty weak. Just to say, my friends who are going, aren't bothered in seeing any mainstage headliners. They are planning to see... Subfocus on the friday night, Alt-J on the saturday and Phoenix on the sunday. And they aren't bothered in most of the mainstage acts, bar chase and status. I said their tickets sound like wastes to be fair :')
Com Truise
They want to see Phoenix so they must have some good taste
weirdfish
last year was horrible, 2009 was pretty bad other than Radiohead I like this year's line up a lot
insideaway
I thought last years line up was alot better on the lower stages but this has a better main, for my personal tastes of course.

insideaway
How is it wasted if you dont like the main stage acts? If you can find enuff acts on the bill, even if they are in tents, to make the ticket worth the price for you then how is it wasted?

Matt42
These people I'm talking about are the typical NME listeners, to them alt-j are classed as a big stadium band to them.
insideaway
Hey i cant stand alt-j, actually that was why to strong, i dont care aboit alt-j i just think they are a waste of spot. My money is made worth it by Deftones, SOAD, NIN, Biffy and Green day i think green days undercard is the best single day i've seen on main. As for those few small acts aint worth it thats your opinion for some people they are. I know people going who are going pretty much for the fr stage line up. Dan R
I thought last year was decent, good headliners worth paying the money for, three bands who can sell out arenas as subs and then a variety of gems scattered throught the line-up for lots of different tastes. Probably my favourite year for the music i ended up seeing. This year I'm interested in Biffy, NIN, Green Day and SOAD. Theres shit all on the rest of the stages. Lock-up has potential to be interesting but so far i could see all of the acts at their own shows for less than £200. Will probably get a ticket closer to the time if i find one going for less than £150. Seems to be every other year has a weaker line-up (07,09,11,13), there must be a pattern... Tobieski
07 doesn't look that bad on paper though. The Chili's, Smashing Pumpkins, Arcade Fire, NIN, Bloc Party, Razorlight (I'm sorry).
kaosmark2
07 was awesome. The mainstage was a bit crappy apart from the subs, but the tents were phenomenal.
Dan R
Perosonally 07 is similar to this year, relatively strong acts at the top of the bill, then a shed-load of of-the-minute acts, not much variety, with very few quality acts scattered throughout the line-up. Though im not sure what FR had on so might have been some gems on there. Will also say that was the year before I started going so dont have a great memory of the line-up. Bisque
Anyone else enjoy looking back at past posters & reminiscing? & seeing which Chelsea player will be making an appearance.
Bisque
I thought vice versa actually....but my age may have been a factor in that. Reading in general was still the highlight of the years 04-08 for me, after it started to loose its magic.
