Imagine no guests for The 1975, and possibly one apiece for Olivia Rodrigo and Sam Fender.   Noah Kahan is the logical shout for the latter if present, though personally, I'd love for it to be Mark Knopfler for a romp through Sultans of Swing.

Even if those Newcastle gigs aren't insta-sellouts in the event on Friday, they'll clear full sales by the dates with ease - imagine a bump in interest when the arena dates conclude, and when the new record lands in February.   Actually, when I think about it, the new record's arrival would be the perfect time to announce him as a Glastonbury headliner if it is indeed the case.

I vaguely remember that Bon Jovi fiasco. Anyway, were it not for the sheer volume of shows already booked  at Wembley, I would say it's probably the last chance for the Stones to scratch that itch if they want to - but there has to be a reason they haven't done so far, perhaps.   Would be nice if the other show outside of the capital is up north, but having played Liverpool last time out, I'd wager it's Scotland or the Midlands.
