What's the funniest thing you've heard a Glastonbury virgin ask?

In one of the threads somebodies friend asked whether to take a towel, or if they would be provided. It made me chuckle and thought there must be loads of hilarious anecdotes that are similiar!

Not particularly funny, but I do get a warm feeling inside when someone asks "can we take booze into the arena" or "how many plugs are there where we camp?"

When Broooooce was playing the Saturday night, somebody asked if they could stand in front of the Pyramid stage from the end of Friday's headliners to get a good spot.

My response - "you realise you're not actually going to be at the festival?"

Not so much funny but I love the amazement when you tell newbies they can bring their own booze anywhere on site

Glastonbury virigins have often been to a smaller commercial festival like V - so expect it to be similar, boy are they wrong!

Can you imagine a kitchen area? There'd be pages long threads on efest after the festival about all the washing up left!

The girl was seriously struggling with her pull-along bag thingy in the heat of the sun and complained to the bloke 'When do the roads start?'

Not a Glasto virgin, but my mother, on being told of some of the acts that are playing on the Saturday "But I thought the Rolling Stones were playing". My sister had to explain that there is more than one stage.

Makes you wonder (and slightly depressed) at how these people manage to register and buy a ticket without realising that there's no plug for a hairdryer in a field

Good Lord. I never knew that and I've been going for donkeys years. I knew there were cashpoints but as I bring a big wedge in cash with me have never used them, or even seen them for that matter. Mind you, hallucinogens and clarity don't mix!
