I will be wearing whatever shorts I have clean, jeans at night if not muddy, trackies at night if muddy. I'll be wearing a skanky yet comfortable pair of trainers, except when muddy, where I'll wear 3 pairs of socks + cheap wellies. I'll wear a selection of whatever cheap t-shirts I have, although probably with a slight edge towards ones referencing bands that are similar to ones playing at the fests I go to.

Huh, turns out that's the same as what I'll be wearing when not at a festival during the summer. How about that?

I will mostly be wearing jeans, trainers and tshirts, unless its cold where I might add a fleece, or raining and I will wear a rainjacket.

Stick to my tips and you will be haute couture at this years festies.

aaah, V-Fest - only just spotted that. Are you going to the Galaxy Summertime Ball too?

Probably my Glastonbury 2000 t-shirt, or my Grateful Dead on Tour (1988) t shirt, or my two eFestivals Ts (one of which I'm sporting now), with one or other of my pairs of shorts I bought in Fosters in the mid-90s (a pair of which i'm wearing now). And a pair of Berghaus boots I bought this year (the others died after a decade) or my sandals (I don't remember where i bought them I've had them so long). I also have an army surplus waterproof poncho for if it rains (bought in the army surplus store), and a hat with horns (from Glastonbury 2009). I did get some new socks and pants this year but they were Christmas presents and i don't know where they came from - probably M&S or Debenhams (as they have to be good enough quality to last at least half a decade).

Oh sorry, you are asking about V Festival! Sorry i don't go, but i think I still have a Pringles sweater, LaCoste top, and Sergio Tacchini jacket I bought in the 80s somewhere - is that what you're looking for?

another tip, take clothes you may not care about as much/older clothes so then if by any chance any get ruined, its not like you've lost something you like wearing.

i mainly wear shorts instead of jeans - just in case you run into a muddy patch at night - so jeans don't get ruined. plus if the weather is good (long shot i know) then you're sorted already.

Well the last issue of Vogue was suggesting pastal colours are gonna be in this summer if that helps. Personally I can't decided between a Marc Jacobs or a Phoebe Philo, I was thinking of a Marc Jacobs as it compliments my cheek bones but Phoebe Philo had such a great London Fashion week her buzz is stellar now, it's so hard to decide!
