Any good deals in Tescos at the moment? Friends of mine are hiring a car from Heathrow and picking up all of our booze on the way.

Alternatively, anyone have any suggestions for a good off-licence somewhere not far from the main Heathrow-Glasto road?

I've been thinking about taking a box of light white wine that I could just sit and glug on now and then without getting wasted too quickly, so I picked up a 3L box of Autumn Harvest 7.5% still perry in Tesco at the weekend for £4.49 and tested it whilst sitting out in the sun on Sunday.

Bullseye! It's refreshing and at £1.50/litre it's a bargain even at full price!!

My friends have found this bargain at Sainsburys on cans of fosters:

15 cans for £8 x 8 = £64

Very nice mate.. I tried it for the first time last week... bottled.. was shocked to find it in cans so stocked up. Highly recommend.

Aslong as it doesn't taste anything like strongbow I'll probably like it, might try a bottle before I buy a crate though to be safe
