Carling 15 for £8 today in Sainsburys. Carlsberg 30 for £16 in Tesco. Whatever happened to the 24 cans for £10 deals

probably one of the best widely available blonde/golden beers available canned

Anyone have any idea on prices from B&M Bargains and Homebargains? I haven't been past one for a week or so, and didn't price up any booze then (I was after bottled bitter), but I do remember buying Stella for my son, cheaper there for 4 cans than elsewhere, so the price may also be cheaper than buying 24 elsewhere. Pity I don't like Stella...

Got lots of Brothers festy strength from B&M in the last week for £7 for 12 cans (440ml). In fact I got them for a fiver as they were selling 330ml x 12 for a fiver yet the staff couldn't comprehend two offers.

Ended up with 120 cans for £60! Was still on on the weekend.

We're staying in Yeovil the night before - anyone know anywhere we'll be able to pick up COLD cases of lager in the morning? Or is it better to buy before we get to town? Was just thinking it would be easier to keep them cold if we didn't have to leave them in the car overnight....

Just been to Tesco. The Vier, Cidre and Stella 4% are flying off the shelves. Managed to get the 36 cans I wanted though.

I'm so skint I actually did calculations on alcohol content for money and the best deals are 18 Stella for £12 in Tesco and 15 Fosters for £8 in Sainsburys.

Tesco had 18 cans of Cidre for £12 on Friday. If they've still got it then that's £24 for 36 as opposed to £22 for 30 (or 67p per can against 73p per can). Plus bigger crates are easier to carry strap to a trolley.

I would seriously consider paying someone for the hassle of bringing back an extra crate for me if they were heading off for a shop. Carrying my alcohol is the only thing I'm not looking forward to.
