Music Player at DL

So I've had an urge to get a music player for my camp circle at DL. A long time ago at Reading we clubbed together to get a battery powered CD player with a ton of batteries and it ruled.

I figured with the way technology has gone I'd be able to pick up a cheap 16GB or something Mp3 player that was battery powered to plug into some portable speakers. But alas - it doesnt seem an option, I can't find much at all let alone anything that's cheap.

So what can anyone suggest for the best way to bring music to a festival? Baring in mind battery power is advisable for having it last all weekend and I don't think I could cope with just 1 or 2 GB of music on the device :P. Don't really need whatever I get beyond the festival so cheapness is preferred but can probably spend a bit of money if needed.

I have previously took my iPod and a cheap basic iPod dock, it's pretty tinny and batteries run out quick! This year I've bought a radio for £20, I'm going to tune into Download Radio. I'll bring plenty of batteries so we don't run out!
