Today I bought:

5 space blankets

A 15 lr Campri water carrier (bargain at £3.99)

I have ordered some Travel Johns, having read reviews they sound just the thing for midnight wee when you dont fancy the 100 m hurdle/dash in the dark or the thought of opening that door........

I think we have everything now. I haven't started packing yet, I'm off for a few days before we go, so that will give me something to do to pass the time

Today I bought ale and wet wipes. Nikwaxing the waterproofs now. That's the first things I've done so far.

we put all the camping gear through the dish washer (the plates and such anyway) as they hadn't been used since last glasto! MANKY!!!!!

Got our 3 tents out, put them up, noticed the Glasto mud still on one of them. Packed them away and put them handy to chuck in the car in 4 weeks time.

I have a big plastic box I'm slowly filling with essentials toilet rolls , plastic cups , water container etc have to wait till I get paid for the fun stuff ... Big supermarket festival shop , drink mixing

Rooted through the crap pile for all the camping bits, found it all apart from my z-rest. However I did find the self-inflating one I rescued last time so might part-exchange and upgrade :-)

Also planned new flagpole beacon, should be fun to make next weekend

Took my new merrell sandals for a practice run on a long walk today, ridiculously comfortable and no blisters. I am READY for glorious sunshine.

We went camping for the weekend in Somerset. Great weather great countryside etc.

Dress rehearsal for the main event. Only a few things forgotten. Practised frying the bacon faster which went well.

Tried out the new extra thick sleeping mat also good but a bu**er to roll up.

The main problem was me. Seriously unfit for various reasons must get some miles in over the next few weeks.

Was gonna air the tent out today but decide to piss it down so will have to be next week now....
