Yesterday i watched the Julien Temple film , again! I pretty much have everything, need alcohol, but that will wait until the Monday before we go, i really am not not of what to take yet. I feel my consumption might not be of previous years as the body is not holding out too well. I hope to be feeling better in a couple of weeks, i it were now i might struggle, i might have a chest infection, getting x-rays etc. Not good. :(

I have actually done something today about Glastonbury preparation. I went and bought two inflatable mattresses from Aldi for my girlfriend and her son, as I already have mine (somewhere!). I also bought them a head torch each as well as proper Duracell batteries for the torches. The mattresses from Aldi are larger than my own and noticeably heavier. I did at one point put them back on the shelf and considered buying them the same as mine, but then thought it a waste of money for the limited use they'll get.

sent the other half into the loft for the backpacks and sleeping bags. also bought my son a waterproof jacket (not that he'll need it of course) and an airbed from ebay. lots more essentials still to get though. i'm spreading it out so i don't combust with the excitement of it all! :)

Aired the tent out, discussed shopping for breakfasts x2 mornings on disposable bbq's, gave the chaps an estimated petrol fund kitty amount, told the one person in our group who wants to watch mumfords on sunday that the rest of us are watching goldie on the hell stage, generally turned the exitment levels up a few notches

Did the booze and snacks shop, got hubby his hydration rucksack, went for a run the morning and a long walk up a very, steep hill this afternoon (whilst wearing in my new merrell sandals) to boost my fitness levels ready to hike across the site!
