What have you done today to get ready for Glastonbury?

Bought a water carrier, some space blankets, plastic shot glasses and 5 bottles of cheapo water as I need the plastic bottles to decant vodka into.

Also bought a 1m x 1.5m tarpaulin from Poundland. I'm going to fashion some sort of sunblock from it to keep the tent cool (as I certainly won't need it for wet conditions NFR NFC)

Drank some chai

Bought a new double air bed to replace the old on which has one of those really annoying slow punctures. Added a new hand pump, and inflatable pillows plus a pvc backed picnic blanket

The foxes glacier mint vodka tastes sublime. However is in the freezer. Not sure how it will taste after 5 days in a hot tent

Oh yeah and I ordered a very tasteful 30th birthday sash and badge for my friend who turns that on Stones Saturday.

How do I cut down what I am taking! Just looked at it all in a pile. Is blooming crazy! I went light last time so meant to be less this time. But taking a trolley as hubby us coming so have a bigger tent. He wants a double blow up. And we have a bigger tent. Man its gonna be a trek.

Paid balance on Motorhome rental on Friday. Bought Red Bull and Vodka today. Had one as a test run ;-)

Still need to get a couple of more pairs of welly socks and a couple of whimsical T-Shirts. Need to sort out loan of an awning for the Motorhome and one of those water rollers.

This is the first week that I've felt it's almost upon me. Getting excited :-) :-) Man it's been a long two years.

Just bought some rather appealing more expensive type ciders. I've just cracked open the first one and am not disappointed. This has nothing to do with Glastonbury really though, as for that I'll be bringing cheapish shoddy cider and lots of it. I was going to do the G & T thing but can't be arsed now.

Apart from that I went to my house to see if my tickets had arrived and they hadn't.

I realised that I really really hate hangovers. It's not even a proper hangover, even just being dehydrated is enough to make me uncomfortable all day. Need a hangover cure before Glasto.

I have no hangover cure but practise the art of staying pissed perpetually during the festival and letting it (the hangover) happen on the Monday / Tuesday after. I must say it's a frightful experience though. Not a step to be taken lightly.

Today I organised Mum and Bro into a cat-feeding rota for glasto week, someone's gotta make sure Frank's not wasting away!

Once that was done sat with a smug smile and listened to my Dad moaning about the beeb not being able to show the whole Stones set "bloody money grabbing gits".

Oh, and booked my haircut for the Tuesday morning. Feeling slightly more organised now!
