Have eaten a hash cake and am drinking some cider. There can be little doubt that these preparations will hold me in good stead for the festival. Training. It's all about training.

I went to the doctors yesterday expecting him to send me back to work either today or tomorrow. He has actually signed me off until 1st July! This wasn't my normal doctor (who would have seen me working down pit the day after my operation) but another one in the practice. He is now my hero and, I suspect, a commie subversive working from within. I remain focussed. Currently. :)

I just ate a twister, that helped lots :) And I can have more medicine in half an hour.

Today I also realised that when trying to book the Wednesday after Glastonbury off yesterday, I actually put down the Wednesday of G, which I already have off. Going to have to slink into the office tomorrow to change it.

ive stocked up on booze, sadly missed the 3 cases for £21 offer at tesco by a day, but i picked up 60 cans:

2 x 20 cans of strongbow @ £12

10 cans of stella cidre and 10 cans of magners for £16

cost me £40 altogether, but i got a bit of variety so im not drinking wrongbow all weekend.

Still gunna pick up a litre of either vodka or southern comfort, undecided yet.

New trolley from efestivals camping store came today together with flag cos friend worried about losing tent.

Going to look in the pound shops this week for snacks and anything else that catches my eye.

Beer came yesterday so now sorted as long as I don't start it.

Got to get my walking boots out and waterproof them,

It was my birthday yesterday, 31 years young, and although I didnt do anything to prepare for Glsato my dad and step-mum bought me a ridiculous orange hoody in a kangaroo theme complete with a little joey for the front pouch. Not normally my sort of thing but Ive told them I'll wear it to Arcadia and take a few pictures.

I started pimping up the kids cart last night. I originally thought it won't take long and there's not much to do. Now I've started I've realised I have a lot to do in the next 3 weeks. Every lunchtime in the last week has been spent doing online Glasto shopping, mostly for kids stuff. Every day I think I've made the last order and then I remember something else that we need.

Ordered spare phone battery, camera/torch batteries, para-cord for building my sun shade.

Put up my tent to air it. Washed my sleeping bag and rucksack.

Fixed bits on the car and gave it a clean before the MOT today. Crossing fingers as I need my truck for delivering things to site. No truck, no ticket. *gulp*
