Put the new tent up attached space blankets to combat the heat. Clothes pegs are effective but a bit big so leaving it all up and going to buy hair clips in work tomorrow and see if they work. If they do then we'll hopefully be able to leave it all clipped together when we pack it away.

I've been having a practice run with the hair. Haven't washed it since Friday night and haven't used anything on it that I wouldn't have access to at the festival. So far I can assume this will be my look:

Tuesday night - fresh and clean

Wednesday - still fairly fresh and clean.

Thursday - boho chic

Friday - erratic.

Will assume it will only go downhill from there. Have added "hat" to my shopping list.

Today, I've started taking the train to work (whoa!) It means a 6.6 mile round trip walk each day, which i've worked out will be around 72 miles by go time....to say I usually sit at a desk and get driven to & from work this is mega!

On a more interesting note; I've also found these frozen cocktail pouches at Tesco; 2 for £4! Ideal for sitting in the queue on Tues night no? :)

Felt 'The Quickening' for the first time this morning - the call to pilgrimage. Realised I've done sod all towards getting ready other then locating a few items. Really need to get my act in gear - the car I'm going down in is not even road worthy yet!

the ex is still in possession of all of our mutual glasto stuff and she won't be attending this year, so I am collecting it all this afternoon. Suspect it will be a little awkward, it's a necessary evil though!

Over the weekend I sorted the bits still in my old festival bag and moved them over to the new one, so sort of started packing but its more my camping bits and bobs I just keep in there :D

Tried out my Alpkit Inflatable mat and after leaving it up for 24 hours, it does do a pretty good of inflating itself!

Started my festival boooze run (Jim Bean Bourbon i am going do the Apple Pie Bourbon infusion with tonight and some apple Smirmoth vodka) and got some other little bits from pound stretcher and new tent light for £6.50 from Asda!! (Bright as fuck!) :D

Glastobated lots :D

and oh had another dry run of putting the tent up :D

Beardgate update. The wife has just said that "now it's come in properly, it really suits you." This is progress. Apparently though, kissing me is still horrible.
