What have you done today to get ready for Glastonbury?

Got a hair cut. Bought a travel size deodorant.

Watched loads of live youtube stuff.

I literally can't get any more excited.

Dragged out sleeping bag to give it an airing, found sleep mask and earplugs (inside sleep bag) from G2010.

did my very first bit of glasto prep today! dug out my old festival phone, and was pleasantly surprised to find it in full working order - I thought I was going to have to buy a replacement.

probably won't do much else until a couple of days before the festival; I'm a last minute kinda person.

Took delivery of towbar and pestered hubby to get the car booked in to have it fitted.

Thought about starting to write my packing lists

The only things I have left to buy are a tent and my booze. Any recommendations for a 3-man tent? Finding it hard to make a final decision on one. Price range would be around £45/50 pounds. I've been looking at this one: http://www.blacks.co.uk/equipment/112667-eurohike-cairns-tent-navy.html which seems good for the price, but I'm no expert.

Today I moaned about the 'no alcohol in trolleys' email quite a bit. Its inspired me to buy my alcohol tomorrow.... and dig out my trolley from the cupboard.

Just been shopping and bout some lovely snacks including pringles, hobnobs and peanuts. Also got tempted by the Southern Comfort Lime which was on roll back and about £14 cheaper than the normal SoCo of the same size. It is a bit less % but I'll get more drinks out of it and it hopefully tastes yummy!

But now I have to buy some little bottles of water from work to decant it into because it's currently looking pretty pathetic in a 2 litre bottle with only 70cl SoCo

I just ordered stunt phones for me and my man friend. It's the first proper bit of Glastonbury Shopping I've done so far!!! I'm now even more excited!!

I have just looked up on Youtube how to fold up a pop up tent. Of course, I'll no longer remember this information by the Monday after the festival, when I need it most. Slap stick comedy will prevail, I'm sure. One way or the other though, that tent is coming home with me.

Was it a video for the same tent as your? Some of them fold differently.

You just need to fully open the valve, roll up the mat as tightly as possible from the end without the valve, once it's all rolled up and all the air has been pushed out you close the valve. You'll probably then have to unroll it and fold it before rolling it to bag size but if the valve is closed it won't inflate.

Tested head torches, checked air beds, packed up tents wrote lots of lists. Cleaned walking boots, starting packing ... and will probably unpack and repack items several times over the coming days... and will also probably write more lists.

Set up and took down tent for the first time today. Went well. Plan on doing it every day till next Sunday, I'm going alone on Wednesday so have the task of setting the tent up on my own, whatever the weather. Plus it sends my excitement levels soaring.
