What have you done today to get ready for Glastonbury?

Finally wrote the packing lists, did a asda shop but forgot the bin bags. Told my staff to get their days off requests in by tomorrow as I will be doing two weeks worth of rotas

Bought some new insoles for the walking boots I'm not going to need because it will be dry (the mice made a nice home out of the last ones) and a spare battery for my Blackberry. I feel like that's enough organisation until panic hits next Tuesday.

Bought a few essentials from Sainsbury's - wet wipes, antibac gel, sun cream (obviously), etc. actually started packing as well! Just my sleeping bag and a couple of other bits and pieces - but still - it's an early start by my usual standards!

Fished everyone's wellies and boots out of the garage, cleared out my wardrobe - finding wooly hat, gaters and a couple of forgotten about hoodies in the process!

Started packing at a very slow pace, only got a bunch of jeans and tshirts in the bag just now and an old lilo for an airbed.

Bought a cagoule, waterproof trousers and an external phone charger recently though also.

Convinced if I pack I will forget something, is there a generic list handy?

Just checked in for my flight from San Francisco to London tomorrow...first time back on home soil in a year. I can't wait. The road to Glastonbury starts now for me.

Tent putting up test tomorrow.

Put up the tent last night at 9pm after getting itchy feet and deciding there was no better time to do it. It went well, I have high hopes for myself when I get on site (non-pop up tenting noob)

Went and found my rucksack, checked that my tent, camping chair and trolley are still in the shed, and discovered that my sleeping bag and roll mat are still at my mums along with my ticket..

just laid out all my clothes and decided what to take or leave, gonna risk a smaller jumper, but can always buy one, better than carrying it all, otherwise its not a lot really, taking flip flops, trainers wellies and will decide if i leave in car, carry or wear on wednesday. bikini because it is gonna be HOT! and plenty of socks, need to remember my ticket, money and ID, not that I will need that,lol still have a small list of things to do though.

Had a call from a friend earlier. As a result of which, I no longer need to carry the two tents I intended to bring. This means I'll only have to bring my lightweight 4 man pop up. This is great news as the weight loss can be made up for with more booze.
