What have you done today to get ready for Glastonbury?

All food bought and tents irked. Will pack away tomorrow when they dry out!

By far the hardest task today though has been trying to choose the clothes that my 15 year old is packing. It not a blinking fashion parade. And the irony is that he knows this because he's been twice before! Teenage attitudes have kicked in though! I think reason finally kicked in

Decanted the spirits into plastic bottles and labelled them. Looks a bit pathetic when out of the glass bottles.

Bought some hard ground pegs today (because the ground is obviously going to be so hard and dry) and a water bladder to keep me hydrated all day in the blazing sun.

Need to go and pack a few more bits and collect all the other bits that I need to pack but still need to use. Also need to pack a bag of stuff for staying at the boyfriend's tomorrow night as he'll be at my house waiting for me before I even finish work.

Disaster

Went out today to do some shopping and collect some camping gear from my sisters house and the notepad of carefully constructed packing lists has somehow not made it home from today's excursions.

have sampled some of my ware... a cherry drop vodka and lemonade followed by a sherbet lemon vodka and lemonade, delicious!

Was going to get the tents, rucksacks and equipment and all our booze out of the garage and pack,but my wife snapped the key.

Did a bit more packing & tied up a few loose ends at home and work. Seems like the festival has crept up on me this year. Starting to get rather excited

Fished the old VCR from my loft after finding a highlights video from 1993 and sitting with a beer watching it and chilling with a beer . Bringing back memories of Teenage Fanclub, Superchunk, Ultramarine, Velvet Underground, and Auteurs. This was my second Glastonbury so getting all nostalgic.

Paul King looks to have been ripping off Bradley Wiggins look 20 years ago.

Didn't want to make a thread so thought it best to pop in here. Thinking of how to decorate our tents, is it necessary? What ways can it be done without looking daft?

Ran through my kit list to make sure I have "the essentials".

Decanted my spirits into metal bottles.

Went shopping for a lightweight sun hat: failed.

Checked the weather data/charts: Scorchio!

We're fretting over not having anything to be able to recognise our tent by but in the end I reckon we'll be fine without anything, plenty of tents will be in the same situation I'd have thought.

Almost finished my packing now. Just need to do the food items for Tuesday night and breakfast Wednesday morning and then I am done.

I'm going into overdrive writing a things to do list. So far this evening I have established that I have a lot of things to do. Going to have to roll one up and calm down a bit.

Back to the physio today to be moulded back into a working human.
