This week, though, I bought the Nick Cave Uncut special for excitement-raising purposes and ordered the Chic Best Of for conversion of friends to my Friday night cause.

Emptied everything out of my old rucksack for the first time since putting it into storage after the festival in 2011, sorted out what's going this year from what's not then loaded it into my new £17 Argos special rucksack that I bought yesterday after seeing a top tip in the 'camping essentials' thread.

Next jobs include rinsing out my water containers with bicarb of soda and buying some more booze

building a themed crazy golf hole for the sticky exhibits display in the green futures field. Come along and see the finished article and have a go. Heres a hint...aim for the wind turbine. There will be other earth arcade exhibits and it is all free to play. Also purchased 24 cans of speckled hen

put my wagon in for MOT today failed on emissions but thats going to be sorted on Tuesday so im made up ...also having help out a friend from london get things sorted and him back on the rd doing his job i feel ive got some good karma coming my way .

Bought some new walking boots which I am going to wear in and I am trying to do at least 3-7 miles walking a day to prepare me for all the walking. I've done 97 miles so far this month and 103 miles last month.

Bought some earplugs, tent lights and one of those 12000mah external batteries for charging phone and camera. A good day.

The caravan service man finally put my caravan back together today after sorting out the brakes and the damper system.

I'll probably look at improving the sealant around some of the roof strips but it's more or less ready to roll.

Bought baby wipes, water bottles for decanting spirits into and got some half price weetabix breakfast biscuits which will probably be rank and the only edibles I'm taking, some to be left in car for mon morn, bought some half price spf30 pocket size suncream, hankies, hand sanitiser and a new drinking cup with a straw.....
