Yeah it probably works out better logistically to do it in September as artists are generally more available around then instead of being on the festival circuit.

Yeah it is a great venue; the pillars can get in the way of your view if you're up on the seating area though which can be a bit of a drag but aside from that it's a brilliant venue.

I reckon we'll get all the big indie bands of the moment (Foals, The Vaccines, Two Door, Bastille, alt-J, Vampire Weekend) some big dance acts (C&S, Calvin Harris, Dizzee Rascal, Basement Jaxx), a couple of big rock bands (KOL, Arctics, Stereophonics) and then the rest being a mix of pop with a few classical artists thrown in like they do every year.

I have a feeling Bring Me the Horizon will do it this year too.

yeah, I suppose it makes sense logistically. However this confuses me.. surely iTunes/Apple won't be paying the artist their normal fee for a gig, and yet surely the artist won't get the same exposure as they do at R1BW (radio play etc..) so where's the benefit to the artist?

I agree with rawaudioinput, Bastille could be a cert, same with alt-j & Vampire Weekend. As it's in September, could get a couple acts from Bestival? Chic? Snoop?

I donno it seems miles is really trying to move away from just being known as Alex turners mate and I think he may even be pushing to headline a night himself if his album is a succes and after listening to it I think it will be quite a big album

Miles is already supporting them around Europe (Italy, France) supported them on their last iTunes gig... can imagine they'll want a change but generally the main events (glasto, itunes) involve miles in 505 anyway..

Miles' album is a strong album though, so can't be far off headlining (maybe him, bastille, disclosure/rudimental could do a couple of smaller nights?)
