Review Of The Lineup Up To Date

I'm 17, quite a quiet lad, normal background, enjoy most genres of music, this will be my 1st festival even though ive been to a lot of concerts... I basically just thought id share my views on what i think is a great lineup all in all.

Headliners:

Beyonce, well she was the main reason i was going as i could not get through the ticket lines to get to see her on her Mrs Carter World Tour, when she done Glastonbury i think it probably was the best live festival performance ever (that ive watched). She puts a lot of effort into each song (although this may not be the case at vfestival as she'll be heavily preggers)

Kings Of Leon, out of all the rocky indie type bands this is the one i was hoping to be announced so i was very happy, i watched a couple of their songs from vfestival a few years ago and it seemed like an incredible night so i do look forward to this.

Main Stage:

The Script -> I really like the Script, and i think they'll have an amazing set!

Jessie J -> One of my favourite British Female artists, but i was suppose to see her on my 16th bday and she cancelled so i kind of given up wanting to see her live, but ill be watching and singing along at V!

Two Door Cinema Club -> I've heard of them, i dont know who they are though

Paloma Faith -> Love Paloma Faith, cant imagine her to be the best live act but ill still watch and sing along

James -> No clue who this is

Deacon Blue -> Same as TDCC

The fratelies -> seen them live last year, put on a good show and had the crowd going crazy!

Stereophonics -> Like a lot of their music, parents seen them in Scotland few years back, think they'll be great!

Emeli Sande -> 3rd favourite artist, 2nd favourite at Vfestival, im really excited to see her live!

The Vaccines -> When they announced i suddenly hooked on some of their songs on youtube so im kinda looking forward to seeing them.

Olly Murs -> I like Olly Murs' music but he's quite dull, i'll probably still watch and sing but wont be my highlight!

Jason Mraz -> Love him, think this will be a good set!

Ocean Colour Scene -> I don't know who this is :X

The Saturdays -> you know what, i hated these girls, but their newest album has a few catchy songs on!

Now The Other Stages, Artists i know;

Beady Eye, wont be seeing them over Queen B though

Fun, id love to go and see these but unfortunately i wont be at stage 2 at the time they are on

Labrinth, already seen him, put on a good show!

Maverick Sabre, underrated artist, but ill be at a different stage probably

James Arthur, one song, im an xfactor fan, but not a james arthur fan tbh

Conor Maynard, i really like conor maynard, hope he very early in the day so i can go and watch

Calvin Harris, love calvin but ill be watching kings of leons

Rita Ora, same as calvin

Rudimental, same as above

Scouting for girls, seen these live last year and they were fantastic.

Kendrick Lamar, really dislike

Tom Odell, like but dont know enough to consider watching a set

Steve Angelo, im so angry that he is on same time as beyonce was suppose to go and see SHM last december in Belgium but had to sell my tickets as my brother couldnt get the time of work

DJ Fresh, i seen him live, was ok

Katy B, Gabrielle Aplin, Jessie Ware, i like them all but not enough to watch a set

Basement jaxx, love them but will be at Main stage for KOL

Elle Goulding, would love to see her but ill be elsewhere

Little Mix, seen them live last year, average girlband live but i like a couple of their songs

McFly, surprisingly very good live, seen them in january and they were great

If anyone else is going to be announced;

Realistically; Florence, Tinie Tempah, Example, Psy

Not Realistic; Lady Gaga, Will.i.am

If you want to get into Two Door Cinema Club you should listen to all of their first album, no so much the second, or maybe watch some live performances from Reading and Leeds over the past few years

I reckon KOL day is okay, there is not enough going for the Beyonce day. I think in a clash finder R&L would still win mainly due to the headers but for me I'd see some undercard now without it being must see as I've seen so many people. James spots out but KOL I'm not fussed on

I reply to nearly all posts yeah, and im still a newbie but i take the initiative and put my neck on the line making predictions, some of which were correct. I dont see how I annoy people, if you dont like an active forum and active threads dont be here. I came on here to add my opinion to other peoples and make discussion about V fest. I dont claim to know much about festivals, but you apparently dont know much about how a person should act (Indie53) So I will keep posting and if you dont like it dont look on here, but im not going anywhere
