Gucci Piggy
Kasabian and Lady Gaga. I've settled on the decision that Mumford won't still be touring the album by that point (may be hopeful). If we're saying The Killers and Muse won't still be touring their albums next Summer, why would Mumford?

Rose-Colored Boy
The only thing I can remember hearing more than once between sets was I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor? oh and that bloody 'Rice Rice Baby' advert, but I can't really see Muller Rice headlining
Pothuthic
Rice rice baby, the woman being exploded, sue getting her bag nicked and Joan Collins throwing a jock strap
daniel.k
I think Rudimental will be on main stage next year the crowd was packed, or at least high up on 4Music. I could see a headliner pairing being one of mumfords or Coldplay and Gaga or if they struggle they could go for killers or kasabian or outlandishly bid for Arctic monkeys to piss Reading off
mfeltham
RHCP nailed on. I'm telling you!
daniel.k
Where for? V wouldn't be their best demographic would it?
mfeltham
RHCP have played a number of times over the years. With a new album on its way I believe and the fact that Hylands played a few Chilli's videos over the weekend (always a sign) I would say they are already signed up for next year. I wouldnt rule out Nikki Minge or Bloc Party either.
Kris_lcfc
Saying the chillis wouldn't fit the V crowd is a bit wrong in my opinion. Providing the undercard matches the day headliner you'll get a certain crowd. V 09 and 10 was very much the type of crowd I expect at a fest, the past 3 years have changed with the line up
daniel.k
Newer line ups are the way I think V will be going from now on. I could see RHCP playing if they were up against a big DJ which I think will be AVICCI next year. The under card could have bastille and imagine dragons on it but I think the under card won't change much just for a headliner

Kris_lcfc
Unless they really pull something out the bag I won't be back 2014. Everyone in our group has noticed the decline in quality acts and the increase in 1 hit wonders and X factor rejects.
Com Truise
Well that's Scottish girls for ya :-P Hahaha Scottish crowds are usually the best crowds! When it's the right type of artist though, there's gonna be loads of Scots at Leeds on Friday for Biffy, which'll be bloody great

Everyone in our group has noticed the decline in quality acts and the increase in 1 hit wonders and X factor rejects. Maybe on the smaller stages there are more one hit wonders but on the main stages (barring James Arthur) there weren't really many 1 hit wonders on the top 2 stages. The futures tent had a few x factor rejects but ya didn't have to see them. I think I'll wait till the line up is out then think about getting a ticket or maybe try volunteer instead of paying
efcfanwirral
I find a lot of people get caught up in the fact X factor people are there, and therefore feel they can't be seen as being part of it. That's what I get from people anyway
Prat.
People over-emphasise the X Factor's prescence at V so damn much there were what four X Factor acts in low slots on the bill this year: one of them conveniently got ill when they realised they would have to fill a 40-minute slot with no songs, one of them got taken off the line-up with no fanfare and for no given reason, and the other two played the Futures Stage to an audience of probably sub-1k, it's not like X Fadder acts are exactly headlining the main stage is it!! Pothuthic
TBH there were quite a few XF acts, just nothing to moan about tbh Misha B Olly Murs James Arthur Little Mix Gamu Lucy Spraggan Diana Vickers LM and James dropped out, Lucy received pretty good reviews, Diana seems to have distanced herself from the show and Olly is a star in his own rights now. Leaving Gamu and Misha B

Kris_lcfc
Who on earth is Gamu lolI was thinking the same thing? In all honesty I think we can expect the same sort of line up next year which is disappointing compared to when I started. I don't mind pop being there, but when it takes over its time for me to say goodbye V, and I don't think I'm on my own, their Facebook page is getting battered! Pothuthic
Gamu was rejected at judges houses by Cheryl Cole over Cher Lloyd and Katie Waissel causing a huge media backlash
