foolee
Have Kasabian and Foo Fighters been ruled out? Can see it being a pop artist and a band again. Can't see the headliners being JT and Jay-Z, if they are there have a feeling they'd play on the same day, headlining together. or co-headlining. Rose-Colored Boy
haven't been on here in a while, hello old chums! got ed sheeran presale tickets this morning, the hype over his new album seems pretty tidy, i'd be surprised if he doesn't play atm i can very much see one day of v being: JT Ed Sheeran Lily Allen also basically a given that Avicii is heading up 4Music one of the days I'd have though
Rose-Colored Boy
also there's not a fucking chance McBusted will be in the Arena, they're headlining in Hyde Park this summer for fuck's sake, IF they're playing (although I think McFly just might want to get back to doing their own stuff by then what with having a new album out an all) they'll be high up on 4Music or early evening on Main

I think Ed will be there as well, as he did V and toured in 2012 when I saw him. I dont think JT will headline though, or if he does I could see Ed playing on the opposite day as him. McBusted could headline Arena maybe, or mid day 4music but thats it for them I think. No idea why they were wanted for Hyde Park

Would be suprised if it isnt headlining one of the smaller ones rather than V also how the hell is he charging 40 plus per ticket!! Ridiculous. But i suppose as u 2 have shown, there are people willing to pay it. Lilly Allen imo will sub or be 3rd at the very lowest. I believe she was 3rd at glasto last time she played, and with another big album i cant see her dropping. if keese said JT is a headliner, well the liklehood is that JT is a headliner
Rose-Colored Boy
we're standing on the 27th in Manchester Dan where are you? really hoping he actually ISN'T at V because i'm likely to be going with people who aren't going to the tour so i'd have to stand through the same setlist twice lol. it's actually not quite £40, just £37 but yeah i see your point. a bit of a step up from his last tour yeah but that's about the lower end of prices for an arena tour isn't it? mcbusted was £46 i think, and katy perry was something ridiculous like £70 so in the end we didn't even bother with her i called it months and months ago that it would be a toss-up between lily allen and katy perry for the jessie j slot this year, yet to see anything to make me think otherwise. not much of a singalong with lily allen though which i think is the main thing that'd be holding her back from subbing. sisco
Zac. U have mentioned liking Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry and Mcbusted in 1 post. A new low is found!! Lol
Rose-Colored Boy
i only like katy perry's singles. and there's nought wrong with ed sheeran or reminiscing on the better days of my childhood with mcbusted. thankyouverymuch besides if i only wanted to listen to music that other people told me was cool i'd be on the reading and leeds board not the v fest one
Rose-Colored Boy
and anyway, the last band i saw live was the 1975 and the next will be kodaline, i'm not THAT mainstream

Pothuthic
I've heard Kodaline aren't too good live, 1975 on the other hand...
Gucci Piggy
Well The 1975 have awful music anyway so it won't matter reyt much if they're good live or not.

Yeah I hope he isnt, but if he is high up on another stage at V maybe I could convince my gf to see someone else instead. Yeah the tickets were expensive compared to £20ish last time (i think, not 100% sure) but he was good last time and sold out where I saw him in Doncaster. I am seeing him on the 19th in Birmingham at the LG arena, never been there but I have been to the NEC for Top Gear Live twice which was good. I would rather have a singalong with Katy Perry than Lily Allen, but I would rather sing along with Steps over McBusted...Now that would be a line up McBusted subbing Steps. I hope Bastille and The 1975 are at V over a repeat at R&L, but we shall see february time. Who on here is wanting to go back regardless of the line up? Rose-Colored Boy
kodaline were shite at hard rock calling, just a warning good-oh my best mate's first ever gig haha so at least i picked the right person not to complain I've heard Kodaline aren't too good live, 1975 on the other hand... the 1975 was one of the best gigs of my entire life. would have gone again this tour if i hadn't had the magical foresight to know that the setlist would be exactly the same. you'd think a band who go on about how they're always writing would include some new stuff but y'know.. Well The 1975 have awful music anyway so it won't matter reyt much if they're good live or not. Yeah I hope he isnt, but if he is high up on another stage at V maybe I could convince my gf to see someone else instead. sisco
I echo that The 1975 are actually very good live. Better than i thought they would be. Would imagine if they arent R&L bound then they will be on the 2nd stage early eve.

adam1234
Repeating my self over two threads and two festivals but the 1975 are a terrible band. I don't see how they have any credibility at all! Anyway I think they are more of a v band than a R&L band and will be at v...hopefully!
