trebor1892
Camp fires with good friends & the guests that come for a chat around said fire
Tr1dent123
Totally Agree! campfire, banter with your mates.. warm beer etc! just makes the festival:) Piccadilly circus was brilliant last year at leeds!

kemosabe
So many funny memorys... I really enjoyed modestep and florence (in terms of acts) but it was the drinking by the fire which made the fest so special

VCK
Just having a good laugh with your mates and enjoying good music. The best is when you discover bands through going to a festival. Without Leeds I wouldn't have been converted to Radiohead.
lightning1000
Without Leeds, I'd still think watching radiohead live was a worthwhile way to spend 2 hours of my life.

Seanoooo
Definitely the camping banter that comes along with it. But also when you get blown away by an act and come walking away saying how incredible it was to your mate.

lightning1000
They put on a breathtaking show. Well they did in the MEN anyway
The Placid Casual
And apparently they did at reading too. Leeds was just a load of self indulgent twaddle.
Gucci Piggy
Radiohead were absolutely incredible at the MEN last year. Probably the best gig I've been to. Having watched the Reading set online it looked great, and Leeds got a better setlist, so I can't see there being much to complain about for me. Tobieski
I think it really depends on whether you're a casual fan and just want to hear creep and paranoid android etc or whether you're a dedicated fan of the band. Personally I think Thom Yorke is the most pretentious twat on the planet, and therefore I just can't get into Radiohead.
Com Truise
I've never got into Radiohead, I like a few songs, and some Jamie XX remixes, but I've never really attempted to get into them, it was one of my plans for the summer. I don't think you can complain about a setlist if you're only a casual fan and you choose to go and see them. If you don't know the songs it's your fault not theirs, they expect to be playing to fans whether it's a fest or not, although I can understand the complaints about missing out hits, cause I'ma be pissed if Biffy don't play Jaggy Snake and Green Day don't play Good Riddance

jonodillieono
but Lotus Flower was the best song they did at the M.E.N
Gucci Piggy
I take it you were at the same gig, so you would probably agree that their post 2000 stuff sounded better live. Myxomatosis, Idioteque and Morning Mr Magpie were my faves. They were the only ones to top Muse
kaosmark2
Radiohead at the MEN last year would make one of my top ever sets. Muse wouldn't come near. The Cure @ Reading probably wouldn't make a top 10 either, although their Bestival set would.
lightning1000
Theres only 3 gigs at fests to make my top 10. Daft punk - global gathering 06 Arcade fire - Leeds 10 Weezer - Leeds

kaosmark2
NIN 07. MBV at ATP 09 if ATP counts. Neil Young at Werchter Gigs are usually better though.
